What is a Noun?
A Noun is a word use for name a person, thing, place, animal, and abstract idea. The Noun is most of time the first words that small children learn. The usually words in the following sentences are all nouns.
EXAMPLE:
_ Late last year our neighbors bought a goat.
_ Politics white was an opera singer.
_ The plane inspector looked at all the passengers 's passages.
_ Philosophy is of little comfort to the starving.
Noun can function in a sentence as a subject, a direct, a direct object, an indirect object, a subject complement, and complement, an appositive, an adjective or an adverb.
