ENGLISH ESSAY

EXPLORING THE ESSAY

An expository English Essay is composition of paragraphs in which the writer presents facts, views and ideas about a topic and explain it to the readers.

There are two types of expository essay.

The first part is oriented by the personal opinions of the writer.

The second part is based on factual data.

In general, the purpose of expository writings not primarily to amuse or entertain (although it may do both), but to enlighten and instruct. It's essential quality is clearness.

The essays that explain a PERSONAL thought or opinion about a topic constitute an example of expository writing.
