Noun clauses

Noun clauses are often utilized in variety of the way and thus have different function in sentence.

A. Subject of a verb: 

Noun Clause can act as a topic of a Verb:

1) What Anna said make her friends cry. " What Anna said "

2) What Jenna made surprised her family.  " What Jenna made "

B. Subject after it:

1) It is documented that coffee grows in Brazil.

C. Object of a verb: 

Noun clause also can act because the subject of verb:

1)She didn't know that the direction was wrong.

2(He didn't realize that the stove was off.

D. Subject complement: 

Noun Clauses can act as a topic complement:

1) Charlies was that he didn't do this again.

E. Adjective Complement: 

Noun Clause can also act as adjective complement:

1) The group is happy that Meg returned home.

2) The child is gloomy that his stomach hurts.

3 The family is happy that they bought a replacement house.

Note:

Why the group happy? Why is that the child sad? Why is that the family excited?

F. Object of a preposition: 

Noun Clauses can also act an object of a preposition:

1) Harry isn't the provider of what Mangle needs.

2) Josephine isn't liable for what Alene decided to try to to.

3) Allie is that the owner of that blue car. 

G. Appositive: 

A Noun Clause also can act as an appositive.

4) Your belief that United State is in North America.

5) The suggestion that you simply should reconsider the exam format is interesting.
