Modal verbs are needed helper verbs in English used to expressing ability, permission, advice, obligation, possibility, and further. These 100 modal sentences to elevate your grammar and conversational skills.


1- Can & Cannot


1_ Can > Present ability; My sister can speak Arabic.

2_ Can > Informal permission; You can borrow my notebook.

3_ Can > General possibility; Plans can change suddenly.

4_ Can > Informal request; Can you pass the salt?

5_ Can > Offer; Can I make you some tea?
